Primera Alerta

Primera Alerta is a 30-second promotional spot created to showcase Telemundo Chicago’s augmented-reality weather capabilities. I developed the campaign’s virtual environment and cinematic weather sequence, modeling the Doppler tower in Cinema 4D and building the surrounding world in Unreal Engine 5.

The project involved green-screen talent integration, procedural weather and environmental effects, and cinematic camera animation designed to transition the scene from calm conditions into a severe-weather event. I completed the compositing, motion design, atmospheric treatments, and final broadcast finishing in After Effects, creating a cohesive spot that blends live-action talent, branded graphics, and a fully realized virtual environment.
